Did you know that everyone who distributes communion is licensed by our bishop? It's because the body and blood are so important!

Lay Eucharistic Ministers are people licensed by the bishop to administer the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. If you have never distributed communion before, it is a powerful experience that can bring you to a new feeling of oneness with God and your neighbor. Deacon Zeb will be leading a class to license and renew licenses for all our Lay Eucharistic Ministers and we invite you to come and join us, even if you aren't sure you want to be licensed. We will talk about what it means to share Christ with one another in this very tangible way. Classes will be held January 13 and 20 at 9 am in the library, room 225.
